Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
RollRoom (“RollRoom,” “we,” “us”) helps people find the right jiu-jitsu gym. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what choices you have. It applies to rollroom.nyc and the RollRoom gym profiles.
What we collect
- Waitlist email. If you join the wait list, we store the email address you enter so we can tell you when the gym list is live.
- Gym enquiries. If you’re a gym owner and ask to be listed, we store the gym name, your email, city, and anything you add in the message field.
- Gym profile information. Details a gym provides for its own profile — instructors, schedule, drop-in terms, and similar — are submitted by the gym to be shown publicly on RollRoom.
- Instructor profiles. If you’re an instructor and fill out the profile form, we store what you submit — your name, favorite techniques, specialties, teaching style, and achievements — to be shown publicly on your gym’s RollRoom page.
- Basic technical data. Standard web-server logs kept by our hosting provider (such as IP address and browser type). We don’t run analytics or tracking scripts on the site.
We do not ask for or store payment card numbers, government IDs, or passwords through these forms.
How we use it
- To operate RollRoom — publishing gym profiles and sending the one email you asked for.
- To respond to gym enquiries and build Verified Gym profiles.
- To improve the product and understand which rooms people are looking for.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t place pay-for-position gym listings.
Where it’s stored
Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection to RollRoom’s own web server, where they’re stored in a private file that isn’t publicly accessible. Only RollRoom can view them. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Cookies
RollRoom uses only the storage it needs to work — for example, remembering a gym you saved or a draft you started in your own browser. We don’t use third-party advertising cookies.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the wait list at any time from the email we send.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you’ve given us.
Children
RollRoom is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as RollRoom grows. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
